Fireman Sam Wrapping Paper

Day Everything and anything is still

Here it is the children are asleep and I have a few minutes before me to come chat with you ... well it is rather I who am going to chat!

The day ends and it's still hot for the end of August. The kids will head back to school and it's a downpour that will hit us on the corner of the head!

Anyway ...

What's new in the garden at hand:

- slugs which are unfortunately not on holiday (probably too tight budget from in Morocco !). Too bad for my failed attempt yet radish and carrots: I give up for this year!
Why this kind of slimy dirt do not migrate as storks? huh?

- attacks of powdery mildew on my squash, but I saw the recipe in Caro who do well for us with a recipe bio I will try tomorrow (if I think!)

- a new patch on the pool this morning .... no comment please!

- plants that grow as more I have not watered, I let Mother Nature do (this was a bit stingy with water in our area ... I know ... it's not fair, I hear by those who swim the butterfly in their garden!)

- bereavements: lights: phlox ' Fugiyama ', eggplant, Alchemilla ... and all those who have not had time to occur before disappear permanently. "Wherever you are (probably in the stomach of a slug ..), know that I will retry the next year except for you, eggplant, I was really disappointed too ...

- few questions for you expensive ( res) friends (es) bloggers ( keynote speakers) who go there.

because I wondered:

1) it was possible to keep a zonal geranium house because in my garage with temperatures below 0 ° in winter, I fear that it freezes: the color is too beautiful and I want to keep ...

2) if it were possible to keep a plectantrus variegated geranium all like: home, garage or make cuttings??

3) When can we begin to move plants in the garden (shrubs and perennials). Should wait for falling leaves eg shrubs, perennials that fade??

Nan, because there, you see I have a job: to enlarge a kitchen garden and plants to move because the color combinations are not all in good taste (or frankly ugly ) and I had a surprise like colors that had nothing to do with labels or descriptions (total scam!). Then I did some silly things like planting in the sun, so that exposure should be ... anyway nice shady beginner mistakes!

How I want to get back, (the weeding 'm getting serious sweat, I'd like to move on now), I can not wait to start the war!

Everyone knows that the quality of the gardener is patience (ahem).
I do not know about you but I prances. I want to pick up a shovel, pick, make holes, return the land, plant, move, cut, having dirty hands, knees all raspy and full of earth, blisters on hands and broken nails, back ground, smell the manure! (Masochistic gardener?? Can be ....).
But what fun spring and summer after seeing this little world grow, flowers bloom, the colors change over the months and be surprised to hear them exclaim with friends of ohhh ahhh and , and you tell them "it moua who did so (with Mr , but shhh, the flower is a girl thing!).

Yes you have understood the return is not just for kids!
strongly Then the search for gems in the nursery!

Well, I talk, I talk ... I'll probably have more questions for you regarding the garden!
Thanks in advance to all who help me!

Good weekend holiday (delete as appropriate) to all!

Waiting New Born Baby Wishes

walks ... We

Today I take you to another resort:
Val d'Isere .

really is one of the nicest resorts in the area, I find, during the summer. Good to share work and there are cranes all over the place (normal for a ski resort!), The rest of the village is really beautiful and deserves attention for stroll in the streets.

The city decided a few years ago, before hosting the OJ of 92 to improve its image and opting for a policy of building with local materials: stone , slate, wood ...

Today, if you want to build on Val or one of its hamlets adjoining the station you will be obliged to do this in the rules of art! But it's really worth because the village is "beautiful"!.

The stone is used on Val and Val is not sold elsewhere, even Tignard (nearest neighbors) are not right! This stone is really beautiful, in shades of gray, but may be slightly tinged with green, blue or pink.

The little more I found: trees, shrubs and flowers everywhere, especially the lupines of all colors and delphiniums. Quite simply, whenever there is a patch of land there are flowers on it!

I even recovered from lupine seeds in the beds of the city, remains to be seen if I have not taken too soon! (If you have any knowledge of lupins I bucket because I do repeat it enough, I am a quiche garden !!!).

So much for today! If you want to know more about the station, I recommend the official website of Val d'Isere . If

you know the area better than me and you notice any errors (I am aware that I do not know everything!) please let me know to correct my statements.

For those who want to hear from my pool cursed (I see that you do not sleep over the night), she takes the shock to worry ... thank you for it! After 15 days of vacation away from home, we expected to find in the flap in the back yard, nay, it is still standing there, swollen, clean water, without a cat lying in the bottom!

Dirt pool that bursts when there is not ...

On this I say good day to all, I'll take a look at what you have told your beautiful blogs!

Monica Roccaforte-wiki

the fart a little ... Muscari

Today, I take you for a ride on the side of Courchevel.

careful here ... we play in the big (and rich!). Courchevel is THE super-posh resort -mega-top-trendy jet-set the Tarentaise ! If the only ticket you have above 200 euros are those of Monopoly this destination is not for you, go your way or back down to the bottom of the valley!

When we speak we say " Mââdââme " or ¨ Môonsieûr "a pompous air, lifts his little finger in the air and when it is a picnic of caviar sandwich Silvouplaît and the canteen is full of champagne (and especially because it Russian!)! (not panic, I laugh !!)....................... . .. whatever

So my little trip for the day:
Lake Rosière

Savoy - towards the valley of the Tarentaise - Moutiers - Courchevel - Lac de la Rosiere.

Do not ask me the names of the mountains overlooking the lake: I know damn nothing more and nothing I found on the net (but hey, I'm a bad researcher must say!)

is an unpretentious little trip for the whole family but there are also the most sophisticated from a downhill bike to the valley (and a guaranteed thrill ATV broken, do not you darling .. [...] Um ... here I digress) and the possibility of 2 via ferrata .

Most of the place: it's beautiful (yes, the mountain is beautiful in all seasons and NO I am not a chauvinist!) And not too crowded unless you as we will one day release for all colossal the corner!
was also able to have barbecues at the lake: the town has set up tables and BBQ stone too choupinous . So when you go up to visit the corner (Thanks to me!), Consider getting your sausage, sardines and your your marshmallows (the matches and coal, otherwise it is fool up there with all this food to watch!)

Children can wade (under the watchful eye of parents, eh?) in water at 12 °. The water may be fresh but at least she has a pretty turquoise color (not like the Lake Cornaches !)
Then when you descend into the valley, remember to take a look at the beautiful chalets overpriced. It's beautiful ... but it's expensive!
And if you want to know a little more there is or here!

Go .... tomorrow I will take you to another station: Val d'Isere (if I can find my photos!). I do not know and I fell in love with this village of stone country .. a real beauty.

nice day

Greek Dress For Festival Costume

Ze back ... .. The pool

Yeah, because all good things come to an end (sniff) so here I am back from vacation (re-sniff).
And as the little family is more of a nomad, this explains the "one month" away from this blog and all those I read regularly.
Finally brèfle.

All that to say that I have lots of little places to recommend (not the toilet, eh, you strip ...) but small places visited in right and left, paying no mine, but I, for one, found sympathetic or attractive, and therefore, I recommend if you're in the neighborhood.

.. So to start a walk not far from home:
Lake Cornaches

To locate Savoie - Valley the Tarentaise - Cevins - Bénétan direction - the direction Planay

The ballad (or rather the rise-of-the-dead-who-kills-and-who-you-remember-kindly -ta-ten-pounds-of-in-too) is done in about 1h30 (time taken with 5 children and 4 adults).
And here's the view one has when one has typed this fucking up: a field of red ... (help me, I'm not even able to know what grows in behind bououhhh me ...). And behind ... is the lake. Attention anyway, do not expect a turquoise water at 24 °, here the water is 12 ° and instead we revert to the blue lagoon, but hey ... after 1:30 hellish climb one who cares bit of water color and temperature. We even let go soak our poor feet into the ground water ice and getting crazy on the flight of dragonflies and tadpoles that swim in the water's edge !

The view over the valley of Albertville is still rails, and other bellowing cries muffled as you push the climb if you're like me still recovering from a sports car, bohhh ..., about 15 years!

And if you go during the right season (and not like us: 3 weeks early) you can pick blueberries!

Next time I'll take you on the side of Courchevel ...
